bmw z3 oil change, etc

Hi all........I have a z3 and the oil change light came on for the first time in my car....which I purchased used.....has anyone had the oil light come on and the air bag light come on at the same time and why? And does it mean I have to have someone look at the air bag light problem....Thanks POP

Not quite clear what you're on about.

-If it's the orange oil light - add some oil in the next couple of
days.
-If it's the RED oil light, your engine has already run out of oil and
probably seized.
-If it's the oil service indicator, get the thing serviced.

-The airbag light coming on is always bad news, as the problem could be
a faulty sensor, faulty electrics, or an actual fault with the airbag
itself (rare).

Airbag warnings are not to to be toyed with as it contains explosive
material. Get it looked at SOON or you might need to buy yourself a new
face.
