This mite be impossible to answer but since MANY of you are "experts"
viz Acura's, you mite be able to give me some personal opinions.

I am considering purchasing a used Acura, vintage 1998 to 2003. If
so, which models are considered the "BEST" & what problems should I be
watching out for. Are there any LEMON models that I should avoid?

Thanks for your input.

PS, it was much easier when they had the RS, LS, GS models....LOL

1999 to 2003 TL have flawed transmissions. Honda has extended the
warranty on the transmission but you need to look into the mileage /
time limitation.

Since the EL is a Civic sold with an Acura badge in Canada, whatever info
you find about Civics applies to the EL of the same year.
