hey i was wondering if anyone has ever put a tail piece(the section
with the two back windows) from a GT onto a SE? would you have to
change the tail lights?

Yes

The shape of the GT rear clip is very different from the notch back. You
are also going to need the trunk lid and the lower part.

If you want to convert your notchback to a fastback, you will have to change
at least, the rear lid, the tail lights and the engine glill on each side of
the deck lid. I am not sure if the trunk will fit.

read this http://www.fiero.net/showroom/fastback.html

have fun
