85 chevy g20 5.0 L california
Choke light is on and none of the dash guages work right. Idle is also rough
but not sure if this has anything to do with the main problem. On the road
engine seems to run OK. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I alaso think there is a vaccum link as the idle is fast and disconnecting
vaccum line does not cause the idle to speed up. In other words it acts like
it is already disconnected.

Check your fuses, probably the gage fuse is blown also affects the choke.
