| We like to plan our vacations (from what, you ask?) around visiting
friends. family or SDC events. There are several of interest in the
TW events listing already and a trip up the coast to Portland sounds
ideal for the Rverside ZM.
Funny thing, our own ZM isn't listed. Hmmmmmm.
Is yours?

Thank you. It wasn't in TW yet and TW is so easy to use.
I also see that you may be touring the Nike site.
I was there about 1975, on a tour.
It was interesting then and probably still is.
There ain't much else to see in your zone, is there. <g>
See ya in Milpitas. >> Stay informed about: upcoming SDC events |

We've got a "Nike site" here is Portland (Beaverton) as well, Karl, but it's
a whole different kind of Nike- Nike Shoe/Athletic Headquarters.

I might actually have the 61 in enough of a shape to take her to the Can Am
Zone meet in Oregon City...

It's a nice place, except when it's raining.
(It did that 26 dys in a road last winter.)
Nice people live there.
No sales tax in Oregon and no state income tax across the
river in Washington. The bridge is heavily travelled.
Flat, but otherwise interesting race track - PIR.
It was supposed to be a housing estate, but they figured the home
owners would get upset be being washed away every decade or so. >> Stay informed about: upcoming SDC events |

Yeah, I'm about an hour and half south of there. Still low enough on the
valley floor that it snows but doesn't stick. About parts of Portland
washing away occasionally, our elderly neighbor worked in Vanport during the
war building Liberty ships. She and her new husband moved down here to
Lebanon a year before the big flood came and washed away the dike and the
town.
There used to be a Kells in downtown Portland, wonder if it is still
there...
