i got a 1968 chevy with a turbo 350 and it wot move when i put it through all the gears. i checked the fluid and the color and smell and its fine. idont know if the filter need changed or the tourque converter needs changed. it ran fine all last year but maby the cold did something. the modulator valve could be the problem but nihad aproblem with another car where the hose came off and it would only stay in first gear. this truck is different because when you put it into gear it wont even budge or jerk in any gear.

It's not the modulator valve. That only helps with the 1-2 shift. Won't budge in any gear would point me right to the pump. If you can get your hands on a pressure gauge, put it in the line pressure tap and see what psi the pump is putting out. Also check the throttle valve cable--but I doubt that's the problem

yea i took off the tranny lines and there was no fluid going through any of the lines. I put a little bit of air in each line to see if there was a clough but the top just blew air out off the fill. The bottom line acted like there was a clough but when i took off the hose a little bit of fluid squirted out . well i guess the pump is out and i need to get a new one or trans rebuilt.
