radio code

I got a 1995 kia sportage. Got it used change battery an now I need the
radio code to make it work again. I contacted kia an they said they dont
have it because its to old.

If they have a computer they probably can get the code if they want to. They'd rather you brought it in and let them reset it for a fee$$$. I have a '97 and go the code afer I called service a couple times. The service guy finally put me throught to a secretary that looked it up with the serial numbers off of the radio in a couple minutes. You have to pull the radio to get the serial number. You might try another dealer if you can get no satisfaction from the one. Good luck!!
