Post subject: no power

Hello,

I have a 1998 Chevrolet 3500 crew cab. Today, after starting up I drove about 6' and everything shut off, no power anywhere. Over the past couple of weeks I noticed the car would shut down for about a second after starting up but would not die completely. Any idea what I may be facing as a possible problem?

Thanks
