I replaced a blown head gasket in my 91 4X4 22re and when I fired it back
up I would lose power @ about 3500 RPMs... it just kind of boggs down... I
tried driving it but the same thing happened no high speed power. I even
bought a new roter and cap but to no avail...it idles good and the timming
is right. I'm lost as to what it could be. Can someone help me?

Yes it sounds like he has the cam advanced one tooth which would make it start, idle and run fine at low RPM's but it would be gutless as you try to wind it up to high RPM. >> Stay informed about: No power |

I am pretty sure that you have the cam out of time with engine because it will do whay yours is doing if it is advanced one tooth. Recheck cam timing. >> Stay informed about: No power |

I guess this is not gettng through or you are ignoring it. Skip a tooth means you got the cam out of alignment by one tooth which I have said for last three posts. >> Stay informed about: No power |

When you put the cam chain back on over the cogs you got it one tooth out,
easy mistake. >> Stay informed about: No power |
