'90 Trooper Parking brake cable - The top cable that goes into the brake handle. How do you replace the upper end (the cable broke in the middle). + one of the bolts holding the assembly to the firewall is stripped ( no, I didn't do it). It means my access is limited. I can't lower the.

anyone have simple directions on tightening a 92 trooper parking brake?

is it done from inside cabin or outside, brake handle pulls up all the way and car
still rolls at idle so want to make it grab sooner

That Cable never Streches. The root cause it the Drum Parking brake ,
need religning NEW SHOES That right your trooper has both disc and
drum brakes in the rear Check em out

A guy that used to work on our Troopers commented after making that
adjustment...said the disk/drum combo was "just like a Corvette!" LOL...
