My 350 won't start. I took out the plugs and the passenger side ones
are covered in oil. I assume this means something is blown.... What
has usually failed to cause this? Is it usually just a top end rebuild
to fix it? or bottom end as well?

Thanks.

check the pressure in you cylinders was all the plugs covered in oil on
the right side plugs 2 4 6 8 hows the other side?if your compression is
low you have rings that are not sealing and the oil is getting into your
combustion chamber thus causing oil to get on the plugs .Dont have money
to get it fixed right now but still need to drive it after your
compression test making sure its the rings they sell spacers that screw
in where you put your plugs then install your plugs like normal the
spacers pull back the plugs so the oil that gets in dont get on your
plugs as fast thus letting you get by for a couple of months untill you
can get it fixed right

Turn the engine over with the plugs out look for oil comming out of
the holes. Try a compresson test? Also check it the rotor is turning
in the distributer, if it is check the cam chane. On 26 Sep 2003
