I would like to make a soft-top for a triumph special can someone point me
to a web site or give advice on how to go about starting the job or at worst
who will make one for me in the UK

I had a soft-top made for my Spartan by an upholsterer in Worcester called K
Ford, he made it from the broken up old one, but if the car had been on the
road he would have made it based on the dimensions of the car / rollover bar
/ frame etc. It was very good!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I would like to have a go at making one before I buy one as I have hand made
my special up to now with minimal ready made bits so far. but I will keep
the info (just in case)
