Post subject: Anyone heard of "Motorvac"???
|
|
|
Hi,
I came back from my usually trustworthy mechanic who recommended I get a motorvac done on my 1999 honda civic for $150 (Canadian).
Nothing's particularly wrong with the car, but I do notice some hesitation when switching gears.
I just wanted to know if anyone's heard of motorvac and if it is a worthwhile procedure.
Here's a website on it:
http://www.dynatune.com/motorvac.htm
thanks for your help,

I don't know personally, but Tom and Ray Magliozzi--the Car Talk guys on
NPR--think it's a good idea.
There are a couple versions, one for oil and one for combustion chambers. >> Stay informed about: Anyone heard of "Motorvac"??? |

Here's what I found on GOOGLE where YOU should have looked;
http://www.motorvac.com/
It's some sort of fuel or oil system cleaning using their detergents.
