Archived from groups: alt>autos>kitcars (more info?)

I'm not sure if this is a kit car or not. It supposedly was manufactured
in Florida. It has a nose similar to the NG TF

http://www.ngcars.co.uk/factory/factorytfframe1.html

It's much wider, and the the back is more square, like a jeep cj. The
frame appears to be a 59 Impala, and I think it was built in the 70's.
It has 350/Turbo 350 drivetrain. I don't know much more about it than
that. My father got one a couple weeks ago. The interior is completely
gone, but the body is solid. It appears to be sheet metal with
fiberglass laid over it. Talk about heavy. Only other info I have on it
is the serial number, which leads me to think it's an Impala.

I'd appreciate anything you might have on it, even guesses. I'd like a
look at what the top looked like, and anything on the interior. Plans
are for a 400 small block and 700R4 or Turbo 400 at the moment.
