to punch an engineer in the nose!

Pass side taillight on an '89 GL coupe. 5 nuts. loosen and remove, right?

No, the washer bottle is in the way, and the trim piece that holds the lic
plate light is, too. And the screws are SO rusty there's no way to remove
them!

A slight change in design would have made this a snap!

45 minutes later, the taillight looks great. So do my knuckles...

Car made in 1989? Shouldn't be in car cemetry?
Of course car that old would have rusty screws. When engineers design
something they had their own reason. I am an engieer(retired) too.
Nothing is perfect in this world. If we could ever make something
perfect, we wouldn't need newer model, LOL!
