Post subject: What is a good year of 928 to buy ???

what is the best year / model to try and buy of a 928 porsche ?
I prefer one with an automatic if that has any bearing on it.

i thought I would try another toy.

From a performance standpoint? The 87+ model years with the
32-valve 5-liter - fast, comfortable, reasonably priced. More complex
so maintenance can be more expensive, and finding someone to work on
928s isn't easy.

I'd go with an '83, they were built pretty solid, they're nice cars, i

Can't agree more. I own an '88 S4 5Spd. Best car I have ever owned. Not
all that bad to maintain, do it all myself and getting parts is not so
bad... www.928gt.com www.devek.net www.928intl.com just to name the "Big
3"

I drive the car every day; rain, snow, ice, sun, doesn't matter - a car for
all seasons.
