hi,

i was wondering if some one turbo'd his not turbocharged engine, a complete
kit or whatever.

It is done all the time, you can fab your own or buy an off the shelf
complete kit...I would suggest a complete kit if it is your first project
with a turbo on it .
A good start would be an engine with less than 9-1 comp [ ideally ] and of
course low mileage and fuel injection [ most of the time ] is the easiest to
deal with when tuning , but if you are attempting your own first kit I would
not worry to much about the mileage if you are only tinkering .. get the set
up made , then run at low boost to prove it out ,, then build your motor to
suit after that .
If money is no object.. there is alot of stuff out there to accomplish a
self built system .
