HI guys,
I'm just about to purchase a nissan skyline but the problem i'm facing is,
to go turbo or not? I'm 19 years old and just wonderin how expensive these
turbos can be? like insurance wise and fuel wise? Am i better of getting a
non turbo? to avoid these problems? also which si better to have? the 4 door
or the 2 door? mainly to do with getting spare parts?
Any info would be appreciated?

Turbo will give you the economy of a small engine when you are gently
cruising. I get about 32 to 33 mpgUS at a steady 75mph as long as I do
not try to suddenly accelerate or push up hill (if I slow a little ok.
but I can maintain a 75 mph cruising speed with a 2.3l 4.

But when I want power it is there and plenty of it.That's where the
turbo advantage is.

On two door vs. four. four doors have retained their value and are
easier to re-sell for as long as I can remember.

My first car was a prewar (in Canada ) 1939 Cadillac convertible . Now
that baby could consume gas!
