Bill,
you need to remove the wiper motor cover located on the left side of the
firewall and rotate the gear so that it makes contact on the switch in the
proper position. But, before you do that, you need to remove the right side
knee bolster. There will be a wire that goes across from left to right with
a red fuse in the middle. Chances are this fuse blew at some point. usually
this fuse controls the return to the park position but not what the park
position is. In other words, this line keeps constant power to the motor so
that the wiper will always park in the same position as set by the gear
switch when the wiper is turned off on the steering wheel console
