My truck is an '85 SR5 Extra Cab with the 22RE and 5speed manual tranny and
RWD.
My windshield wipers work on low speed and intermittent but not on high
speed.
Anybody know where to start looking?

Check the blower motor switch. Make sure it is sending power to the blower
motor when set to the high position.

I would start at the wiper motor connector. Jump voltage to the
appropriate connections to drive the motor in high and low. If high
doesn't work, it is a wiper motor problem. If it does, it is a switch or
wiring problem. I would then go to the switch connector and see if the
switch is putting the correct voltage on the relevant connections. If
no, it is a switch problem. If yes, there is a bad connection somewhere
in the wiring. The odds favor the switch but the wiper motor is probably
easier to get at.
