I am pleased to announce as of today Phil Harris is taking over our parts
business. We will still do some supercharger work and selling the new flanged
axles but for all other parts, please contact Phil.
We have known Phil for about 40 years, as we first met at the NHRA Nationals in
the '60's. Phil was also running a '51 Starlight Coupe at the time. He was a
good friend and gentleman back then as has continued to be all these years. He
teamed up with Malcolm Berry and they campaigned a '63 R2 Lark Wagonaire for a
couple years. Malcom still has the Wagon which now sports a five speed
transmission.
Phil is a decent, honest knowledgeable Studebaker enthusiast. He knows what he
is doing business-wise. As some of the may know, he has been repairing Stude
door hinges for sometime. He will be a good vendor and a credit to the
Studebaker hobby. You should see the big Studebaker truck he has restored. It
is just gorgeous. He has a beautiful Avanti too, and several other Stude
projects.
For all you Studebaker people that have blessed Mary Ann and me with your parts
purchases over the years, we thank you. We hope you are as pleased with us as
we are with you. There comes a time when we need to evaluate some things and
it is painfully obvious that if we plan to accomplish some of the things we
plan to do, we better do it.
I ask all our customers to please give Phil a chance and contact him for any
future parts you need. You can contact him at 4300 ST RT 235, Fairborn, Ohio
45324 or phone 937-878-1576 and his email is: stude6 at yahoo.com
(hope this email comes through this way).

Ted,
Thanks for the recomendation, based upon that alone I am sure that Phil will
indeed be a great parts contact.
I want to thank you so much for the advice you have given my son Matthew over
the years. His dad is not much of a mechanic (Matt is better than I by a long
shot!), and has aspirations for a truely grand high performance custom '58
Silver Hawk, powered by a tricked out Stude engine. The e-mail time, and time
at the international last summer meant a lot to him, and to me. I have sent
Matt Phil's address stuff, but I if I know Matt you will hear from him again.
Thanks,

I'm sure based on your recommendation, Phil is a prince, but you'll
still be missed as a vendor. Now when I call you for advice I'll feel
guilty because I can't spend some money with you. <g>

my GH. Had problems getting it to fit. A phone call and it turned
into the best investment so far. Thanks for taking the time!!

Thanks Nate, and no I'm not going to stop coming to swap meets but I never did
get to too many if they were a farily long distance other than the
International Meets. Hope to see you in South Bend this coming May.

Thanks, Robert. Yes, I'm just tonight getting back to looking at a ton of
posts on the NG. Glad I could help you and I'm sure Phil and Fairborn
Studebaker will soon be a common name for parts.
Thanks again.
