Totally off the top of my head, the initial Vauxhall one (designed in the UK) had
a 54 degree V and the later one of more stock GM origin was 60 degree.

But why bother The old B series I4's are lovely ! Tunable to over 300 bhp IIRC.

indeed, later 2.3 engines are not 'slant' block and no parts have been
interchangeable from the 1973 B series - itself a far more reliable motor
than the dolly lumps.

And of course by the 1980 H series finally removed that stupid water
pump....

The B205 came with the 9^5 and was never installed in the 9000 IIRC. The
balance shaft was introduced when changing from B202 to B204.

'88 900-Won't Restart - I'm having trouble with my 1988 900s. I just got a new battery and it won't start unless I jump it. It runs OK, except the check engine light comes on and off while driving as it has been doing for awhile. After running for awhile, it won't start..

Heated seats 9000 1997 fail - I have the problem that the driver's side heating fails. Besides the switch on the dash and the wire in the seat, are there other components in/under the seat/dash (relais, fuse,etc.) that could be the cause?

Saab 9000 Transmission swap - My brother (lucky soul that he is) owns both a 1995 9000 Aero and a 1992 9000 Turbo. The Aero has a blown gearbox and the '92 turbo has a blown engine, both vehicles have 5 speed transmissions and he would like to pull the good gearbox he has and mate it...
