I have a new trunk seal for my 53 Coupe that I got from Studebaker
International. The seal that was in there is a generic one I think, since
it was cut at the corners. The new one has a flat side with a flap and a
grooved side. There were no instructions, which side goes up? Any tips or
hints for the install? I have the old one out and am in the process of
cleaning the residue before installing the new one.

thanks in advance

Pat

All the WS instructions are in the SI catalog.

I have a question about the trunk seal as well. The
instruction (for the Hawk) sez that the 'legs' are glued
into the channel, with the 'wing' pointing *away* from the
body. Maybe I think too much, but that could be taken
either way - which is correct - pointing in the direction of
the fin, or pointing in the direction of the trunk? or does
it matter? Not that I will necessarily rip it out and redo
it, if I've misinterpreted the instruction.......
