It is time to replace some of my tires on my 2005 Saab 9-3. I've
seen some of these Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS tires around. What
do you all think of them? Currently I have some kind of Pirelli
tire that was on the car when I purchased it, but I haven't had to
deal with tires much. Opinions?

What type of weather conditions? Driving style?

You say "replace some" if that means two it would be better to stay with
the same make and model of tire you have.

Soon to get cold and possibly rather snowy. I wouldn't say I am
an aggressive driver, but sometimes I do things which wouldn't be
considered kosher to do with say, a minivan. That is, I would
expect the car to behave like a sport sedan.

If you can find them, look at Nokian WR''s. Used them on my 00 9-3.
They are an all weather tire but also carry the Severe Service mark
(snow flake on the mountain)

Fortunately, it only gets a little slick and snowy here, so I don't
need full fledged snow tires, but thanks for the recommendation.
I will keep these tires in my head and check them out.
