As I was backing the CDR into the garage yesterday, Marilyn said
something, while pointing at the RR light. After getting in place, I
turned on the parking lights to check the glow in the wall from lights
and brakelights. It wasn't that clear, so I got out and checked - all
semed to be fine. We then continued about our business of taking the
shopping into the kitchen.
Today was going to be my first day at the museum since the forest
fires, so I left early. Well, not quite. Dead battery.
I knew the trickle charger woud take care of it in a few hours, so
hitched it up and went to play on the 'net.
I had forgotton to turn off the lights and also to clean the area
where the eyelets of the charger and cable meet. (They are held on by
welding clips. .
Needless to say, I didn;t get to the museum.
Caddy is the feature car this month. Got some great ones on show. The
low-rider has a $12k paint job!
The V16, with hood open, gets a lot of eye-minutes rung up and the
black Series Sixty Special gets the approval from the older car nuits,
Somehow the red '03 doesn't get as many long-term lookers. There
others are also lovely and interesting.
