Oh I just handled one like yours and the timing belt tensioner was not tight
enough and the cam was 3 notches retarded. It set the Camshaft Position
Sensor code though.
SO start with the basics:
Check the timing belt timing
Check the spark plugs and ignition system.
Check the fuel system
I am not familar with the Bora so I am not sure what their weaknesses are.

Not even sure if your car has an Engine Check light.

Thanks for the reply but there is no fuel coming from regulator,
somebody told me to restrict the air going into inlet manifold by
blocking off tube but this made it just as bad as fitting to the
regulator. cheers.
