Cars of the 1960's - One of the many books donated to the library recently included the title abpove with these photos. (If you have one of these cars, contact me and I'll supply book details.) '64 Red Convert w/white top (first F is not too clear)..

Movie cars - The Goggle search I did for Christine got me thinking. Let's say the subject of the movie was a 55 Speedster and in 1983 the producers bought up 2 dozen 55 hardtops of all models and made them into Would the loss of a few of those cars..

Pedal Cars Anyone? - These little Austins are one of the most of all pedal cars. There's quite a history to how they came to be built.

Post subject: Selling a couple of cars??
Archived from groups: alt>autos>studebaker (more info?)

Recently some guys have been buying some of my Stude stuff and are
wanting more. I have a 63GT I have had for many years. It came with a
JT engine, 4-speed, and factory air. I love this car, but am about
convienced that health and finances are never going to let me finish
it. I recently found a rust-through under the rear window (at the
bottom) on the dirvers side. Anyway these guys are Planning to buy
this car next for 3500, but they don't cary anything about it having
the JT engine and want to drop in another engine I recently sold them
They just know that they have found a lot of interest in these cars and
want to get it running so they can sell it. The JT engine is torn down
and has hade a valve job, and I have the bearings for it somewhere
around here. Floors etc. are solied. If anyone here thinks they
would be interested in this car for what it is, email mewith any
questions.

The second car is my 54 wagon, a very solid body, rebuilt engine and
brakes. I drive this car around town almost every day, and most always
it draws a crowd. A guy saw it in my yard last week and stopped
demanding I give him a price. He wants a "cruiser" whatever he
considers that to be, said he was mostly interested in trick paint and
nice wheels He is very serious. I haven't given him a price, but
would love to see someone take this wagon on to a full restoration,
something I will probably not be able to do. I think it is too good to
be hacked up.

If anyone is interested in either of these vehicles email me or call
me. I am in Anderson, S.C. in the phone book as Mitch Bennett.
OK, nuff for now, back to lurking.

Mitch Bennett

Ford or Chevy?

Dang, Mitch hate to hear things aren't going as you'd like.

For the rest of you, I do know the '54 wagon...and it is a very solid
car. I think I still have pix from when Mitch bought it
