Archived from groups: alt>autos>kitcars (more info?)

OK GUYS, Need a bit of help here. Changing out my engine in my 550 Spyder
(Thunder Rance). Currently a 1915 with doghouse cooler and filter combined
with the oil pump (Oil Filter Cover).

I am putting in a 2110 engine, doghouse cooler BUT with an additional remote
cooler using an oil pump cover adapter. In other words, in and out the oil
pump. The filter will be inline with the thermostate and fan/exchanger
assembly.

OK here is the question: Does anyone have experience as to where to mount
the extra components? AND and any comments as to the extra load on the oil
pump (Using a 30mm pump but it will have more of a tortuous path once I
replumb the oil flow)

Let me know, thanks in advance.

Joe
