The US IS a socialist country. And you won't be the biggest economy in the
world much longer. The US empire started to collapse about 1990. Rome fell,
Britain fell, the US will fall too.

You know nothing about Canada to say it's socialist. In Alberta, we can
drink at 18, still no vehicle emissions testing, no state sales tax, higher
speed limits on the highways than the US, our strippers don't wear pasties!,
no mandatory recycling, we can still buy many drugs here outlawed in the
States, longer last-call hours than most States, and now no government
ownership of the banks... and on and on it goes. I've lived in the US in
different places. Side-by-side, the US is a liberal heaven. You've been fed
a lie for so long you now believe it.

Now I will be the first to argue that the US is on a screaming race
to become fully socialist ,But It cannot even be argued that Canada is
far ahead of us in the socialist department. No firearm rights, no
property rights to speak of, fully socialist health care. And on and on.
Canada was set up to be socialist ready and it has fullfilled that
promise. KB
