We don't know why Volkswagen took this decision, probably to distinguish somehow this car from the Passat series. Anther version is that this 'rebranding' is meant to fill the gap in the VW model range, between the Passat and the upcoming Phaeton. Who knows! Come to think about it, we don't even know what CC [...]
