Post subject: Overdrive swap
Archived from groups: alt>autos>studebaker (more info?)

I am in the process of swapping in an overdrive behind the 170 flathead in
the 59 Lark and seam to be missing the retaining bracket that holds the
cable to the chassis or somewhere on the transmission so the inner will move
independently from the outer. Having not done this swap before I was
wondering what it is I'm missing? Also, what I have to move the lever on the
trans to engage the overdrive appears to be a little small or it could be
wrong. Any one know what parts are used in this setup?

While am writing, does any one have the throttle linkages from the throttle
pedal to the carb?
