Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure sending unit is located on the
1996 Cadillac DeVille 4.6(Northstar)engine and can I replace it myself?

The oil pressure sending unit on the 2001 Northstar is located above the oil
filter on the right side.

Yeah it is on the oil filter housing, easy to get to under the front of the
car abouve the oil filter.

4.9L oil pressure - i recently rebuilt the 4.9l engine in my 92 seville. all clearances were checked and in spec. new oil pump, bearings, etc. the problem is i have only about 5-7 psi oil pressure warm at an idle. anyone have any ideas? is there any tricks to getting more..
