Odd Problem with My Silverado

I have an odd problem with my '03 Silverado, automatic transmission. The
indicator light is acting up. When I put it in drive, the indicator light
stops at Reverse for several seconds before going to the drive position.
When I put it in reverse, it goes to 3 for several seconds before foing to
reverse. When I put it in park, it goes to 3 and then goes out.

Has anyone else had a problem like this??

it could be a couple of things-you could just have a problem in the cluster for the prdnl lights or there could be a problem in the selector/neutral switch on the side of the transmission ..
