Focus C-MAX 1.6 TdCI - opinions

Hi,

after focus station ghia (the first model) I steped in an renault megane 1.9
dci and after 15 months and 70 kkm I decided to switch back in to the ford,
this time in 1,6 tdci C-MAX (Ghia) manual transmission, expectet somwhere in
may.

I'm looking for any opinions from drivers. I've found some bad news about
the CVT transmission but not much of other opinions.

Hi
in an German forum about Foci and C-Max I found a lot of bad experiences
some owners have.
That goes up to two new engines while the first 16,000 km.
But that is for the C-Max build in Europe.
They have also reported squeezing and rattle noises from the doors and
dashboard, probs with other things...

for those who can read German:
C-Max 1,6tdci Trend, 17500 km

- Stirnrad der Kurbelwelle defekt: Motorschaden: Motor wurde ausgetauscht
- Mehrfach Leistungsverlust auf der Autobahn: Turbolader getauscht
- Fahersitz quietscht von Anfang an: 7 Versuche, keine Lösung
- Poltergeräusch Vorderachse: derzeit behoben
- Knacken und Knistern im Armaturenträger: keine Lösung
- Zylinderkopf undicht/verformt: Zylinderkopf wurde ausgetauscht (3
Wochen Werkstatt!!!)
- Crashsensor defekt: ausgetauscht
- Heckklappentaster ohne Funktion: behoben
- Heckklappentaster zieht Wasser und friert ein: noch nicht gemeldet
- BC und Radiosoftware fehlerhaft (falsche Tankmeldungen, Datenverlust
im Radio etc.): Mehrere Updates, noch nicht perfekt...
