I'm installing a new wiring harness in a Ghia convertable, and am having
trouble pulling the old dome light harness out. As this is a
convertable, there are rubber sockets on the top of the windshield frame
which are engaged by pins on the convertible top.

It appears that the bundle, where the old harness is attached to the
drag line for the new one, is catching on this socket. Does anyone know
how to remove the rubber without damage?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Greg,
You might have better luck posting in the aircooled group:
