Archived from groups: alt>autos>infiniti>q45 (more info?)

The 2000 Q45 I'm driving just started making a slight, low rumbling noise
coming from the interior fan motor. It only present when the fan is on.
Before this, the only sound made when the fan was on was 'rushing air'
coming from the air vents.

I'm fairly handy with self-repairs so any insights on what would cause this
and how to repair would be appreciated.

Thanks for any advise offered.

could be something like a leaf or small twig stuck in the blower motor,
rubbing on the fan blade/squirel cage.
May need to remove the blower to inspect.
