Most standard insurance companies won't touch you. If they do -
like Progressive - their rates are outragous. Look to specialty
companies like AON and Grundy.
AON/K&K insures my '66 Mustang for $100 a year. Grundy quoted me
$365 a year for my Cobra kit car.
Go to the forums on <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.ffcobra.com" target="_blank">www.ffcobra.com</a> and do a search on insurance,
and you'll get a couple of hours of reading material.
Also, go down and get a copy of Kit Car, Kit Car Builder, or Street
Rodder magazine, and you'll find insurance ads.
