i have a I30 with what i think is a bad starter, but i have no idea where the
dang thing is on this new-fangled transverse bass-ackwards mounted engine..

is it easy to replace? can anyone help me??

I suggest a one-day subscription to the Infiniti document service. I signed
up for one day for $20 and downloaded the service manual for my new M45. It
did take some time as there were many sections. But a one day subscription
should be enough for anyone to get one service manual.
