Post subject: Help with buying a used 2000 Maxima

hi guys...

i m kinda new with cars. i found a 00 Maxima for about $7500 and it's already 110k miles on it, i wonder is this a good investment on this??????? i was thinking to drive this car at least 5 years or more ( i drive around 10k / year) can this Maxima run long..? one this is that the service light is on but i checked with a Mechanic and said there is no major problem. can anyone point out some sugguestion plz... thx alot!!!!

Probably not a big deal. Just make sure the transmission shifts well
under full throttle and have the trans fluid changed after you buy it.
Also try the brakes at around 60MPH to see if the rotors are warped.

1994 Maxima Won't start than one day later it will - I have a 1994 Nissan Maxima. Three times now I have went out to the car to start it and it won't start. I can hear the fuel pump cycle. I will leave it alone and come back the next day and it will start fine. Anythoughts? Fuel injection system? No spark....
