We really need to know model and year, also if it is a 6 cylinder or 4
cylinder (if it applies). However, a good rule of thumb that applies to most
cars is that it is beside the throttle body and has a pair of roughly 1/2
inch hoses to each side of the throttle butterfly. Often the hoses are the
clue.

Idle air control valve - How do you free this up? What solution would u recommend? My 97 Honda civic idles up and down.....I was told it was the IACV, which is located in front of the fire wall....lodge on the top rear of motor. Anyone know anything about this? thanks

IAC valve, rough Idle and rev limiter at 3200 on ECU CEL c.. - Hi All I just bought a month ago an integra 91 LS 3 doors. I had an Intermittent CEL and when the light would come on, the rev limiter would kick in and limit at 3200 rpm and the Idle would stick at around 1800. This would last for about 10-15 min and..

Idle control on 90 prelude Si 2.05 - For some reason when the engine is warming up in the morning my RPMs go up to about 2000 rpms and then drops and it keeps doing it untill I actually drive it and warm it up. I think my idle control sensor may be goin out or something.......alot of people...
