I have just bought a 323ci e46 coupe made in 1999.

Its done 110k with fbmwsh.

Overall the car is excellent but im wondering if anyone here has had one
with similar mileage and knows from experience what is likely to go wrong or
need replacement anytime soon?

Thanks

Ash (uk)

Just bought one myself with 95K. Although I'm in Canada...

The minor things I've expereienced are:

1. Odd hum from power steering, I've been told this is normal.
2. My sunroof headliner clips have broken off, need to get them replaced.
3. Passenger window is slower going up than others, I think it's failing
mechanism.

Other than that, it's been a real joy to drive. The ride is excellent and
after two months of driving it I sat in my wifes car and was thoroughly
disgusted! (She has a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R).

Congrats!

Deep

BMWs in general are pretty hard on brake pads and disks (disks are soft,
pads throw off dust like buggery), and you can expect to change the front
disks every 50 K km at least<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Not in my experience, but they do tend to go through front suspension
parts, especially if you don't use BMW items. I guess it depends how
you drive. There's nothing "oh my god it's going to break at this
mileage" on these cars.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
