Doesn't start every try.

I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid. I live in Phoenix and when the weather is over 80 degrees I have intermittent starting. The car turns over and spark is there. Seems like it doesnt get gas. It starts every morning but after a drive to work it may not start again, if I wait for a few hours it will start on the first try.

Lately the weather has been cooler so it hasn't happened recently. In the summer however it happened almost daily.

A friend mentioned some kind of "vapor lock" is this possible? I appreciate your help.
