Hello, this is my second year following the Dakar (I'm loving it), but
I want more. I'm in Canada and I am following the coverage on
Speedvision, which gives half an hour (with commercials) for each day,
it's good but too short. Is there better coverage available through
satellite or digital tv? I would love to see a lot more from the
stages.

David

Unfortunately the coverage in europe isnt any better. At least in
germany there is only one daily show on eurosport for half an hour.
Eventually there are some french tv broadcasters with longer coverage,
but i doubt you can receive them in canada via sattelite.
I was hoping that the common interest in the european media would be
higher, especially because of the first real participation of the
VW-Team. But i seem to have mistaken. Sad

Doh, I was hoping one of the Skynet channels was covering it live and I
could buy some pirate DVDs later on Smile They sure have a lot of choppers
and on board cameras just to produce a half hour show.

Hey

The Same in Denmark
There is also only a half an hour a day. On Eurosport
we have a danish channel(TV2 Zulu) which also broadcasting, a half an hour,
but its nearly the same as Eurosport.
