Hi All
I am looking to buy a relatively recent model, my budget is £9000 max, I
need a biggish car as I am a tall chap plus I always have stuff in the boot.
I am considering Vectra, Mondeo or Passatt, no older then 3 years, not
particularly bothered about speed or power or fancy stuff like trip
computers, although alloys would be good; always had petrol models so far,
may consider a diesel.... My main priorities are reliability, low cost
maintenance and durability...Is it better to get an older moder Passatt or a
newish Vectra/Mondeo? Does anyone know approximate costs of these cars'
services?
Any thoughts, info and comments greatly appreciated.
Cheers >> Stay informed about: Which Car... |

=============
Thanks, for the comment,Vctra, Mondeo ha!.
Right now I a bit busy for 40 feet container lashing and vannings job
here, so
I get back to you. Used cars key is reliability like you said. and not
age and kms.
but every's days maitance only by ex-owner, because even 2004 or 2005
models cars
are sometime in the engine mal-functioned with even the short kms.
Above all mechincs like me and
exportation are the best I am sure.

The Passat may be be better from a depreciation point of view. Hell, a 320D
or C/E class may well be cheaper long term. >> Stay informed about: Which Car... |

Beware of the latest Fords, the instrument panel is almost impossible to see
in some lighting conditions.
