Is it possible to build a COBRA using the mechanicals from a HYBRID
Ford Escape or Mercury Mariner ?

Anything is possible. First you would have to find a Cobra kit manufacturer
and find out if the Escape is an acceptable donor car.

Basically you are going to get a frame and a body. You will have to supply
the axles, wheels and other things that are required.

It would be an expensive hybrid.

Here is a couple of link to a kit companies:

Creating that hybrid car is possible but it would really cost you a fortune. Why would you want to do that hybrid?
