Archived from groups: alt>autos (more info?)

I have random engine trouble with my Hyundai Elantra engine and those
problems are never visible wile the car is at the mechanics. My question is
is there something like a black box for the engine where I can record it's
parameters and then show it to the mechanic with exact parameters the engine
gave while in trouble.
