In America we do things big and we do them right. I drive a Ford F250
with a V10 and it purrs like Tupelo honey. I ride tall and proud and I
feel the power. The same power that a big hurricane generates. It all
comes from inside. From HERE.

Katrina is just part of that total power factor that defines the
American way. No Prius pussies allowed! She took what she could from
us, like a high school football rival with a wink in her eye. She also
helped cleanse that city of its criminal element and brought the rest
into the light. Fats Domino is still alive so all that was good is
still good. It was a washing clean worthy of the Lord Himself. The pure
shall emerge unscathed while the filthy shall meet their destiny.

Quoting Matthew 8:26: "He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so
afraid?' Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was
completely calm."

Already the eco-weenies are blaming Katrina on global warming but they
don't understand the power dynamic in this great land. Katrina was an
act of God, not nature. She fed off our total might. Those climate
geeks don't know beans about weather. Some guy said it would rain
yesterday and it only sprinkled.

Now, the storm has passed and its power has strengthened us more. The
tidal surge caused a lifting of crude oil in the Gulf - just watch how
much they pump when order is restored!

I live close enough that my Ford got washed clean by the Holy rains and
I drove it proud through the small floods in our area. Keith Whitley's
"I'm No Stranger To The Rain" was cranked up good on the Jensen.
"...I'll put this cloud behind me, that's how The Man designed me..."

One man's smug is another man's willpower. I have no shame in my pride.

Don't even speak if you don't have 400 ft lbs torque minimum. Like
Katrina, I could pull a whole house off its foundation with good
traction.
