Hi Hippo,

Thanks for the tip on T&K in Granville.

They regassed the A/C, found a leak, fixed it and regassed it again.
Took them a few hours and they only charged me $235. Friendly service
as well. Highly recommend the place to anyone, if you ive near Sydney
that is Wink

Cheers,
Rob

That's great Rob since I need to get the A/C on my other sort-of running
C900 (a 1985 900i) checked out as the previous owner said that it's not
working properly. The A/C on my 1982/83 900S works fine (although the load
on the 8V n/a engine is very noticable [doesn't help that the tranny is an
auto!]).

BTW, I took my car up to the SCCA NSW meeting at Mildren's on Tuesday night.
Apologies to anyone else reading this who was there as I needed to get back
home to get a decent sleep before work the next day. Cool It was great to
meet a heap of SCCA NSW branch people and even better that I was just one of
about half a dozen new members!

Regards,

Craig.

My new used SAAB - Just purchased my first SAAB yesterday $600.00 body is in pretty good condition but for a few rust holes in doors. It is a 900 5 speed much different than the 9000 I drove a few weeks ago with automatic trans and turbo. A small investment for a for new...

1998 SAAB 900 S - Considering a used 1998 SAAB 900 S 76000 miles. $7900 Would this be a good car to buy? I don't know much about Saabs, but I enjoy driving a relative's 2004 9.3 Linear. Are these two cars similar? Main concern is reliability on the 1998.
