Is there a place online that I can see a diagram of the duct work on the
heating/AC of a 99 DeVille? The passenger side is blowing cold air while the
drivers side is hot. I'm guessing it may be an actuator but I'd like to see
a diagram before I dig in too deeply.

I'm not sure of this, but the AutoZone website has alot of info. You
might give it a try. You register first, then input your car model/yr.
Once that is done, click the Repair Info link, then the Repair Guide,
then look for the link appropriate to your problem.

The best source of information you can get is the OEM Service Manual by
Helm Inc. Helm is the publisher for GM service manuals, the same books
the service dept at a dealer uses. The SM is a 'must' for someone who
is capable of doing their own work. One or two DIY projects and the
cost of the SM is repaid.

Helm has a website: <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.helminc.com" target="_blank">www.helminc.com</a>

There are other 'repair manuals' but they don't cover everything and
lack essential info. The SM covers everything having to do with the car
from the tread on the bottom of the tires to the skin on the roof.

Hope this helps.....

I had tried the AutoZone before but it didn't have what I was looking for.
But the Helm info sounds the like the way to go. Thanks!

To add to what Dave said, the factory manual is the way to go.
Sometimes you can get lucky and get one on Ebay for less than half of
the Helm price but that is hit and miss. Even if you pay bust out
retail at Helm, it will pay for itself the first time you use it
rather than go to the stealership.
FWIW
YMMV
