My son purchased a 1998 Dodge RAM 2500 earlier this year and I wanted to get
him a toolkit for the vehicle. Could anyone advise if this vehicle is
principally tooled in Metric or Standard measurement.

Yes Smile Probably more metric than SAE, but there's both. A nice Craftsman
combo toolset would be a good choice... something like this:
